‘Daily Wisdom: Islamic Prayers and Supplications’ is a book of 366 Duas from the Quran and Sunnah, presented both in English & the original Arabic.
The duas are categorized according to different moments, feelings & events in life like:
-on waking up,
-supplications for morning and evening
-when entering the mosque
-for rain
-when a journey is over
-on returning to ones’s hometown
-one entering one’s home
-when putting on new clothes
-for clearing debts & loans
-when facing a difficulty
-when in distress & hardship, and so on.
Each dua mentions its source of referance, with a bibligraphy & index in the last few pages of the book.
The book is visually pleasing, with a beautiful color scheme of maroon & golden thick hardcover binding. I love the whole layout, typestting & paper quality of the book.
The duas are numbered from day 1 to day 366 denoting them to be read & reflected upon each day of the year. But they dont necessarily have to be read as such. It is upto the reader to supplicate whenever he wishes to, & also depending on his need & requirement
The book will be very beneficial to be used after each salah & in ramadan too.
*The book I reviewed is from my personal library.
